These tender cheesy zucchini steaks are a delicious and healthy side dish, perfect for grilling or baking.

- 2 large zucchinis
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Slice the zucchinis into thick steaks.
- Brush both sides of the zucchini with olive oil and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Grill the zucchini steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the zucchini steaks during the last minute of grilling.
- Remove from grill and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the zucchini in the olive oil and seasonings for 30 minutes before grilling.
- This recipe can be easily doubled or halved based on your needs.
