Description

These tender cheesy zucchini steaks are a delicious and healthy side dish, perfect for grilling or baking.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large zucchinis
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Slice the zucchinis into thick steaks.
  3. Brush both sides of the zucchini with olive oil and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grill the zucchini steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the zucchini steaks during the last minute of grilling.
  6. Remove from grill and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the zucchini in the olive oil and seasonings for 30 minutes before grilling.
