  • 2 cups rolled oats
    1 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix oats and cinnamon.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix honey and nut butter until smooth.
  4. Combine: Chop apples and add them to the dry mix. Then, pour in the wet mix and stir well.
  5. Prepare baking dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  6. Spread mixture: Put the mix in the dish and press it down.
  7. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
