A cheesy, meaty pizza twist baked into a flaky pie crust!
Ingredients
1 pre-made pie crust
1 lb ground beef
1 cup pizza sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
20 slices pepperoni
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat, then season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Place the pre-made pie crust into a pie dish and spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of the cooked ground beef, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, and place a few pepperoni slices on top.
Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of cheese and pepperoni on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Allow the pie to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
