Mom’s Best Cake is a simple, moist, and buttery Bundt cake made with yellow cake mix and brown sugar for a soft texture and a lightly crisp sugar topping

For the Cake:
- 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- Mix the Batter: In a large bowl, mix cake mix, brown sugar, eggs, water, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the Topping: In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half into the greased Bundt pan.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve: Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

- Ensure the Bundt pan is greased well to prevent sticking.
- Serve with coffee, fruit, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
