For the Cake:

  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1¾ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup whole milk

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding the dry ingredients with sour cream and milk. Mix until combined.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool.
  6. Brush cooled cake with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar topping.
