- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped Kalamata olives
- 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta, olives, parsley, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper, and beaten egg until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 8–10 patties, about 2–3 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry patties for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove patties and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with tzatziki or a Mediterranean salad.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, substitute breadcrumbs with gluten-free breadcrumbs or almond flour.
- These patties can also be baked at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
