Ingredients

- 1/2 teaspoon dried culinary lavender buds
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (3–4 lemons)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- 2 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Fresh lavender sprigs (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
- Place dried lavender buds in a heat-safe container.
- Pour hot water over the lavender and cover.
- Steep for 5–10 minutes, then strain and reserve the liquid.
- In a pitcher, combine lavender infusion, lemon juice, and sweetener.
- Stir until sweetener is dissolved.
- Add 2 cups of cold water and stir again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs if desired.
Notes
Use culinary-grade lavender only. Customize flavor by adjusting steeping time and sweetener to taste. For an extra touch, try using lavender simple syrup or add sparkling water for a bubbly version.
