  • 4 bacon strips, cooked & chopped
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that your egg cups cook evenly and develop a beautiful golden color.

Step 2: Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until they are well beaten. Add in the parmesan cheese, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Continue to whisk until the ingredients are thoroughly combined, creating a smooth mixture.

Step 3: Prepare the Filling

While the oven is preheating, cook your bacon until it’s crispy. Once cooked, transfer it to a paper towel to drain excess grease and then chop it into small pieces. Shred the cheddar cheese and chop the green onions.

Step 4: Assemble the Egg Cups

Grease a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray or line it with muffin liners for easy removal. Divide the bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions evenly among the muffin cups. You can also add any extra ingredients like bell peppers or mushrooms at this stage.
