Description

Soft, buttery Chewy Butterscotch Blondies with butterscotch chips, a golden crust, and a rich caramel drizzle. A perfect dessert for any occasion!

For the Blondies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)

For the Topping:

  • ¼ cup butterscotch chips, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually fold in flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in butterscotch chips and white chocolate chips (optional).
  • Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
  • Drizzle melted butterscotch chips over cooled blondies. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix the batter to keep the blondies soft.
