Creamy, cheesy, and utterly comforting, these Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Stuffed Shells are a family-favorite dinner that’s as satisfying as it is simple. Tender jumbo pasta shells are packed with a savory blend of juicy chicken, fresh broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese, then smothered in a rich cream of chicken sauce and baked to bubbly perfection. It’s the perfect balance of comfort food and feel-good ingredients—all wrapped up in one cozy casserole.

Ingredients

Scale

12 jumbo pasta shells (cooked)
1½ cups cooked chicken, diced
1 cup steamed broccoli, chopped
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ cup milk
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Instructions

1. Mix chicken, broccoli, and 1 cup cheese in a bowl.
2. Stuff mixture into cooked shells.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk soup and milk. Pour over shells.
4. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.

Notes

  • Chicken Options: Rotisserie chicken, grilled chicken, or even leftover roast chicken all work great in this recipe.

  • Broccoli Tip: Be sure to steam or blanch the broccoli just until tender so it doesn’t get mushy in the oven.

  • Cheese Variations: Try a mix of cheddar and mozzarella for extra gooeyness, or add a sprinkle of parmesan on top for a richer flavor.

  • Make It Creamier: Add a little sour cream or cream cheese to the filling for extra creaminess.

  • Freezer-Friendly: Assemble and freeze before baking, or freeze leftovers in portions for easy future meals.

  • Serving Ideas: Pair with garlic bread and a simple salad for a well-rounded, delicious dinner.
